Avialta Helicopter Maintenance Ltd. has been named as a Maintenance Centre to support local Operators for Airbus Helicopters
- Airbus Helicopters increases proximity service to Alberta and central Canada with the addition of new service center

Fort Erie, ON, 9 October 2015 – Airbus Helicopters Canada is pleased to announce they have chosen Avialta Helicopter Maintenance Ltd. to increase proximity support in the west. Avialta is a Transport Canada approved helicopter repair and overhaul maintenance facility who service a wide range of utility and corporate customers.

In the tradition of Airbus Helicopters Canada long standing commitment to customer support and services, Avialta Helicopter Maintenance Ltd. a Leasing and Maintenance Company has approval to perform maintenance and minor repairs on Airbus H120, H130 (B4 & T2), and H125 and AS350/355 range of aircraft. They will be performing routine and major maintenance and aircraft customizations including, interior, paint, avionics, optional equipment installations and maintenance level composite repairs.

Avialta is owned and managed by Rod Wood. Purchased in 1985, Avialta has grown from a small two man operation to seventeen personnel. Avialta Helicopter Maintenance Ltd. is a Transport Canada approved helicopter repair and overhaul maintenance shop that provides maintenance, parts sales, component overhauls and third party maintenance in Western Canada – a one stop maintenance facility. This 19,000 sq. ft maintenance facility is located at the Villeneuve Airport, St. Albert AB just north of Edmonton.
